Key Data: Over the past years Dr. Van de Klashorst has been working as a consultant in international development for various organisations & institutions such as: FAO, institute of Technology Bandung and ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States, 16 West African countries) and in: Indonesia, Iraq, Malaysia and Sudan. Considerable experience has been gained in the following tasks: e.g. floating weed infestation in West Africa; setting up research projects; evaluation of projects; field sampling; organisation of training and facilities; missions in Anglophone and Francophone countries; contact with local authorities; workshop: organisation and execution, grant acquisition, arranging for consultants; formulation of project documents. Establishment of joint research projects with other institutes and universities.
